The Improvement of Employability programme at Belgrade Open School sees its mission as supporting individuals to find creative answers to the challenges of advancing in both their professional and personal lives in the current and future labour market. The programme aims to affect the acquisition of career management skills, lifelong learning and successful transitions for individuals in their career path, with a comprehensive career tool called ‘Boš Karijera’, or ‘Your Career’ (https://karijera.bos.rs). This tool includes a number of guidance functions which can be applied as self-help tools or with the support of a practitioner. In addition to national educational information, it provides labour market information and self-assessment exercises, along with tools for creating a personal career profile and a CV. It hosts mobile games to advance social competences, which have been designed for developing wider employability skills such as communication, collaboration, self-esteem, assertiveness and decision-making. The news section is supported with Twitter.
