Webinar 'New ideas for final assessment'

On 13 May 2020 we have held the webinar ‘New ideas for final assessment’ to share different approaches to end-of-year and final assessment during the current COVID-19 crisis. We were overwhelmed by the number of participants and so was the system. We regret that not everyone interested was able to follow the webinar due to technical issues, but we will share the recordings and additional materials here. We hope that this way you will still be able to get the ideas on how to organise assessment in the context you are working in.

The recordings of the webinar are available below in French, English and Russian.

Additional material country examples

We will publish guidelines, regulations and examples of assessment here. Do you have additional materials you would like to share? Mention it in the comments at the bottom of the page and we will contact you.

For now we have:

  • From the Finnish National Agency for Education: Guidelines for the Education Providers for assessment in exceptional circumstances during COVID-19 epidemic.
  • Framework Regulation for the organization of VET during the suspension of the educational process in Moldove, with a reference to monitoring and evaluation.
  • From ANFA (automobile sector) in France a presentation explaining their approach to assessment this year in French and English.
  • From Poland guidelines for the organisation of final exams in 2020. The guidelines are in Polish but we have added an automatic translation in English below. You can find the long original version here and the short original version here

Following our webinar last week please find below an interview in English with Jolien van Uden, the webinar facilitator on the reasons for the webinar and the next steps.
