Image removed.The European Commission launched a consultation process for the ESCO new major version (v1.1) which will include new occupations and skills that have appeared since ESCO’s launch in July 2017*.

The new content is focusing on three key areas:

  • Greening of the economy;
  • Digitalization and new technologies;
  • Labour market changes brought by the COVID 19 crisis.

A draft pre-release of ESCO v1.1 is available for consultation on the testing environment of the ESCO portal https://www.esco-projects.eu/esco/portal . The final list of new and modified occupations, skills and knowledge concepts resulting from the work on the content update is included in the attached excel file. The attached guidance document explains the consultation process and the use of the Excel file in more detail.
