Launched in January 2024, the programme Supporting Education Reforms and Skills in the Eastern Partnership is the first EU regional initiative focused on education.
This initiative focuses on improving education systems in Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Moldova, and Ukraine. The programme aims to enhance efficiency, quality, equality, and relevance in education. By aligning governance practices with international standards, it seeks to deliver better education and training services to citizens in these countries. Through dialogue with national authorities and stakeholders, the programme aims to implement recommended reforms effectively. Ultimately, it strives to create positive changes in the education sector during its implementation and beyond.
Targeted actions will strengthen the capacities and policy processes of the five participating EaP countries by combining country specific activities as well as mutual learning and networking across the countries.
