Objective of the event
The event was an opportunity for members to meet in person for the first time, discuss their work/research topics, and find synergies.
The key element of the event was a hackathon. The aim was to design, build and present the most innovative solution to a problem/challenge related to emerging skills needs, and then pitch a final concept, prototype or presentation to the stakeholders. As a means of spring-boarding innovative ideas to complex problems, the collaborative nature of a hackathon makes it a superb way of bringing creative minds together!
You will find below the presentations prepared by the teams.
Location and duration
The event took place on 13 and 14 June 2022 at the University of Gastronomic Sciences (internationally known as home to the Slow Food movement) in Pollenzo, a little town close to ETF’s premises in Turin.
The event was held in English.
Format and participation
Given the limited capacity of the venue, participation in the live event was upon personal invitation only. Some plenary sections on the event were however web streamed.
