Turkey Vocational Qualification Authority jointly with other public private stakeholders have discussed in depth the correlation between validation and employment for Turkey citizens and refugees. The ultimate aim has been and continues to be on how to use/ further adapt Turkey validation system to accomodate the needs of its own citizens and hosting/refugee population:
1. Turkey institutions have analysed how do refugees /hosting country citizens get a job after validation procedures and/or training- what are the key challenges and what are the practises that are working best/needs to be enhanced with additional support and services.
2. From their interventions and institutional experience, national and international actors, they have looked at the most efficient and effective experiences/activities in the interventions for the labour market and social integration of refugees and/or supporting host communities in the recipient countries.
3. They have worked closely with private sector representatives to define at what stages do the employers or non-governmental have a primary role to advance issues that would facilitate refugees' participation in economic activities, including suggestions aimed to ensure their sustainability.

One of the key pillars of the Turkey Education 2023 Strategy is widely spread digital skills by further strengthening of the cooperation with stakeholders including the role of private sector. Turkey Ministry of National Education has established integrated online e- platforms e.g. Turkish VET Map opened for all provinces in Turkey in 2019 (http://meslek iegitimharitasi.meb.gov.tr/) and My Job My Life. (https://meslegimhayatim.meb.gov.tr/). These platforms, among many others, aim at bringing all stakeholders together, including students, teachers, graduates, public institutions and private sector (and other interested parties). In the 2019 Annual Monitoring and Assessment MoNE Report, it is clearly stated that all the above platforms have had a huge impact on the usage of digital skills at all levels of the system. They have been very beneficial for Turkey Ministry to support policy actions, governance of skills and attractiveness of TVET in Turkey.
In terms of the development of a new ICT Curriculum, together with the e-Training of teachers. Fatih Project- a national project long term project with the aim to effectively integrate technology into all schools in the country. Turkey has a well-developed system for collecting labour market data, including skills. The E-Graduate system( E-Graduates website, https://emezun.meb.gov.tr, )managed by the Ministry of National Education (MoNE),monitors the transition from VET to work and includes data on the school types of VET graduates year of graduation, whether they went on to higher education, their work sectors, the relationship between the subject studied and work field, and remuneration. It track student achievement in grades/subjects, are used to compare regions, schools and programmes, and to inform policy development and international surveys. Starting from 2016, the Turkish Statistical Institute launched the Official Statistical Programme to integrate VET work-based learning data for monitoring purposes.
