On the days 15-18 October 2024, the members of DIGI ENE Initiative for digital excellence had the chance to meet in Madrid during an immersive peer-learning activity

Objectives: 

  • provide full-immersion experience in the area of digital teaching and learning for Centres of Vocational Excellence (members of the initiative), 
  • foster collective knowledge sharing (scale-up innovation), 
  • facilitate reflection on the individual needs and transfer of knowledge (adaptation of the new knowledge to the needs of the teacher/of the institution), 
  • provide member CoVEs with opportunities to collaborate with one another nationally and internationally, open up more opportunities for transnational partnerships and platforms for knowledge exchange. 

An intense programme has been designed in collaboration with hosting institutions. 

Day 1: 

  • First Get together! Interactive session with all members.

  • Study Visit at IES Puerta Bonita member of FPEmpresa VET Schools Association. IES Puerta Bonita is providing professional training in graphic arts and audiovisual communication since 1990, https://iespuertabonita.es/ 

  •  Study Visit at Fundación Universidad-Empresa, FUE promotes innovative and differential training that provides students, graduates and employees with the tools needed to fully develop their professional potential, https://fundacionuniversidadempresa.es  

Day 2:

  • Participation at ALL DIGITAL Summit, one of the leading public events in Europe on digital competences.

Day 4: 

  • Study Visit at Instituto Nacional de Tecnologías Educativas y de Formación del Profesorado (INTEF) Ministerio de Educación, Formación Profesional y Deportes, https://intef.es/

The Members of the Initiative are going to meet this week (on November 14th) to recap the experience of the study visit in Madrid and to learn from some successful experiences of Centres of Excellence.
