Vocational Excellence Resource Type

T-shore stands for ‘Technical Skills for Harmonized Offshore Renewables Europe’. T-shore brings together 13 partners from 5 EU Countries to research innovative approaches for skills provision in the offshore renewable energy sector and blue economy. The consor um consists of a mix between educational providers (EQF2 level 3-5 and 6-8), businesses and especially clusters of relevant stakeholders representing the sector. Due to the international spread of the partners, touching upon each of the basins active, or almost active in offshore wind energy, the state of affairs for many partners is different, creating a hybrid, though specialized and very relevant consortium.

The document compiles three deliverables of the WP2 (work package) Researching skill and training needs of the industry. The scope of WP2 is to map the skill and training needs, and the existing infrastructure in the Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) industry. The focus lies on entry level employees with an educational background in the upper secondary education and post-upper secondary education (EQF 3 – 5), who are active in the whole supply chain of the ORE. Taking in consideration the broad scope of the project.
