Vocational Excellence Resource Type

Education has a hugely important role to play in helping tackling climate change and driving the transition to a green energy continent. Challenges in transition develop rapidly, with a high demand for digital and green.

Sustainable Energy Education (SEED) appreciates the need to distil relevant information that is useful for the Centres of Vocational Excellence about issues of skills supply and demand. Therefore, throughout the project’s lifecycle, the main focus will be on:

Investment in skills which are key to realising the clean energy transition.

SEED aims to prepare students and professionals adapt to the fast evolving labor market where smart, digital and green skills are the key drivers to innovation against climate change. SEED’s partners represent regional skills ecosystems and national agenda setting stakeholders.

They share the common vision to scale up and promote work-based education by establishing an international learning community on vocational excellence dedicated to Sustainable Energy. The booklet provides a brief overview of different projects considered good practice.
