This report “Software Professionals Curricula Design” is a deliverable related to the project’s Work Package 3. It translates the ESSA role profiles, namely Developer, DevOps expert, Solution designer, Test specialist, and Technical (software) specialist (as defined in the ESSA Software Skills Strategy for Europe), into educational profiles which result in curricula equipping people with the skills and competences needed in those roles.
The objective of this document is to describe how the ESSA role profiles and ESSA
Software Skills Strategy lead to effective skilling, upskilling, and reskilling curricula. The definition of educational profiles ensures comparability of curricula designed based on these profiles and the ESSA principles, which support mobility. The curricula itself are tailored to the specific situation and are not pre-defined, so only guidelines for the design of them can be provided.
