Tophane Center of Vocational Excellence is one of the 15 centers established under the Ministry of National Education. The center aims to share best practices, develop innovative projects, and promote sectoral excellence.
The mission is to enhance the quality of education in vocational schools, support teachers and students in adapting to sector innovations, and provide infrastructure and collaboration models to strengthen the alignment between the job market and education.
Main activities include:
- Development of Training Programs and Courses: Preparing training modules, professional development courses, and digital learning content for vocational teachers.
- Strengthening Partnerships with Industry: Organizing field studies, internship programs, and company visits for vocational teachers in cooperation with private sector and industry organizations.
- Provision of Digital and Applied Education Infrastructure: Offering digital education platforms and workshops to ensure vocational teachers are knowledgeable about digital tools and technical equipment.
- Research, Development, and Projects (R&D): Investigating new technologies and methodologies in education, and integrating these research findings and projects into educational content.
- Quality Assessment and Continuous Improvement: Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs and teaching methods by collecting feedback and conducting analyses to make improvements.
