Description of the practice:

"Zoom Youth Employment" is innovative methodology that combines audiovisual techniques in work with high school students. Namely, in development of methodology has been used French documentary movie Rules of the Game (Les regles du Jeu). The movie is following several disadvantaged young persons in their search for a job. The concept has been split into several topics of interest for students, and adjusted to regular school classes. 

Career counselling has been mainly limited to career info day implemented by PES Canton Sarajevo, once a year in each school. To change that practice, Public Employment Service of Canton Sarajevo decided to shift responsibility for career counselling from PES staff onto school psychologists / pedagogues. Employees of public employment services in the cantons delivered training of professional associates in the school of pedagogues / psychologists. Only in 2019, the PES of Canton Sarajevo conducted training for 80 psychologists / pedagogues. The methodology has been implemented even during pandemic with a great success.
