Organisation: "Quality and result" LLP, Astana

Setting of the practice: hybrid

Description of the practice:

The main problem in non stop training in the elevator industry is the need to interrupt the main activity for professional development and training, take 40-hour courses (the time may vary from the country where the person works) and pass the exam.

In order to reduce training sessions, our option of continuous training and examination is based on independent or joint on-the-job training of employees by setting tasks from simple to complex with the assignment of a curator in the person of a quality control inspector, who is present at each enterprise.

An example of such continuous learning:

Let's say an employee with up to a year's work experience got a job with you, since he already has the skills to work with an elevator, set him a task for advanced training such as replacing the speed limiter cable, provide him with installation and operation instructions, where the manufacturer has the necessary instructions and give him a certain period, say 3 weeks. Based on these instructions, this employee can quite independently solve this problem. Within 3 weeks, this employee must require from you the necessary devices to replace the speed limiter cable and the cable itself. After the deadline, you send an inspector to check the completed task, if the employee coped, then you can issue him a certificate of advanced training. During the inspection, the inspector can create situations and ask questions about the work done in order to make sure that this employee has coped with this task.

Due to the flexible approach, the company can carry out several certification procedures throughout the year and develop its own qualifications and certification procedures, which significantly contributes to reducing the financial part for training and certification of personnel.
