From skills anticipation to skills action: Collection of articles to understand skills demand in EU neighbouring countires

In a rapidly changing world shaped by digitalisation, climate change, globalisation, and shifting demographics, understanding how labour markets and skills needs are evolving is crucial. In response, the European Training Foundation established the Skills Lab Network of Experts to promote skills anticipation and facilitate collaborative research. This report presents the outcomes of six comparative research projects developed by international teams exploring skills mismatches and emerging labour market trends in ETF partner countries. From green economy transitions to youth digital entrepreneurship, the studies provide evidence-based insights that can help shape more responsive and inclusive education and training systems.
