Description of the practice:

The State Agency for Vocational Education has started cooperation with the German Agrarian Contact Organization in 2023 in order to implement the "International Agricultural Practice Program in Germany". Agrar Kontakte Organization has been implementing internship programs for young agricultural students from different partner countries for more than 30 years. Students from agricultural colleges and universities are invited to work and live on family farms in southern Germany. An internship program refers to practical training through "learning by doing". In this process, during their stay in Southern Germany, students will live with a family that runs a private commercial farm and will help them practically with the daily tasks of their farm. In April 2023, a group of students from Gabala State Vocational Education Center and Barda State Vocational Education Center won the right to participate in the "International Agricultural Education Program in Germany". The representatives of the organization conducted an interview of students studying agricultural specialties such as "Crop Specialist", "Livestock Specialist", "Garden Decorator", "Agroservice Specialist", "Wide Profile Tractor Driver, Machinist", and 11 of our students successfully passed the interview and are young farmers in Germany. were involved in the 8-month agricultural internship program and returned to Azerbaijan in December 2023 after successfully completing the program. The main goal of the internship program is to develop bilateral relations between Germany and partner countries, and at the same time to make an effective contribution to the agricultural sector in Azerbaijan. Finally, we would like to inform you that the Agrar Kontakte organization has announced the "International Agricultural Practice Program in Germany" for Azerbaijan in 2024. 4 students of the Gabala State Vocational Education Center, studying Veterinary and Animal Husbandry, won the right to participate in the program. At present, work is being carried out to send our students to Germany.
