This policy brief is based on extensive research as part of a larger study aimed at analysing the technology transfer policies and systems in the Western Balkans economies, with a specific focus on the needs and challenges faced by enterprises to have access to skills-related services. Technology transfer is the process of transferring knowledge, skills, and technology from one organization or individual to another. It is a critical component of economic development, as it enables businesses to innovate and improve their products and services.
