An extended video conference chaired by Adviser to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdujabbor Abduvahidov was held today in the Great Hall of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education.

It was attended by a team of ministers led by the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the director of the State Testing Center, the head of the State Inspectorate for Quality Control in Education and rectors of all higher education institutions.
At the meeting Siddikova Sadokat Gafforovna, who was appointed Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education for the Development of Vocational Education by the Presidential Decree was introduced to the audience.

The meeting also noted the need to improve the quality of education through the introduction of the Cambridge system in schools, increase the coverage of higher education, revise the classification of occupations according to demand and need, and ensure healthy competition in education.
At the same time, the event heard the views of officials on the organization of this year's admission, including fair, transparent professional (creative) and test examinations, as well as the use of the opportunities of higher education institutions, including the State Testing Center. The Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education, the State Testing Center and higher education institutions have been instructed to ensure the smooth running of this year's testing process.
