Organised by UNESCO and hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco, the Seventh International Conference on Adult Education (CONFINTEA VII) takes place in Marrakech from 15 to 17 June. CONFINTEA VII will discuss challenges and issues with providing access to quality assured adult learning. It will also set the course for the next 12 years through the adoption of the Marrakech Framework for Action in the field of adult education and learning. Among the topics discussed during the conference: innovation and inclusiveness of skills development; tackling the climate challenge and digital transition; making sure both youth and adults access to relevant opportunities for upskilling and reskilling; tackling the challenge of illiteracy and leaving no one behind in education. The ETF contributes with its thematic and country knowledge to the discussion on innovating lifelong learning.
