The publication is based on 21 papers on these two topics, drafted by members of Cedefop Community of apprenticeship experts. To complement the country-specific angle, Cedefop developed a comparative, cross-scheme and cross-country analysis and shared its reflections.

Our next activity on apprenticeship is the 2021 joint Cedefop/OECD symposium on ‘Apprenticeships for greener economies and societies’. The symposium will bring together policy-makers, practitioners and researchers from around the world to consider new research or analysis of practices exploring the links between apprenticeships and the transition towards greener economies and societies, as well as the implications for policy-making.
