FOOD FOR THOUGHT

The ecosystem is a metaphor borrowed from biology to explain how different interlocutors and environment interact.
In this ecosystem here are individual learners, workers and job-seekers, professionals in every area of lifelong learning and lifelong guidance, the policy makers and government institutions, social partners, employers, sector and regional bodies – they are structural  parts of what is commonly known as the ‘skills ecosystem’.
❓What elements should ideally be present for a healthy environment for skills?
❓How do people acquire them?
❓how do countries need to change curricula, teaching and learning and guidance, so that people can benefit more from skills and qualifications?
❓What new practices and tools need to be developed?
