Are you in need to develop a Career Guidance Strategy ? And alsointerested to learn from international examples?

Then you may get inspired by ‘Scotland’s Career Strategy – Moving Forward’. This is not only a very recent example but also from a country considered to have well-developed career guidance services. See the link to a recorded webinar as well as to the new strategy below.
Already some 10 years ago, Scotland made a clear commitment to an all-age career service with emphasis to equipping people with the skills they need to manage their careers (very similar to the EU concept of CMS-Career management skills). Government realised it is time to update this strategy and to step-up efforts. Especially to pay more attention to equity and quality issues, and to go beyond the focus on young people. The strategy underpins a universal entitlement to career guidance. The main presenter in the recorded webinar is Dr Deirdre Hughes, Director of DMH & Associates in England, Policy Adviser and Academic Researcher in career guidance and related fields. Two Scottish government representatives, Scott Gray and Greig Chisholm, provide further insights during this webinar - https://DMHASSOCIATES.easywebinar.live/event-replay-2?attendee=f85fc6cf…
