๐Ÿ“ข Call for Papers โ€“ International Conference on Platform Work & the Gold Economy ๐ŸŒ๐Ÿ’ป

Together with my colleagues Bresena Kopliku and Ljubivoje Radonjic Radonjiฤ‡, we are organising the International Conference on "Platform Work in South East Europe โ€“ Intersectionality, Feminist Futures, and the Gold Economy," taking place on 23 May 2025 at the Universiteti i Shkodrรซs 'Luigj Gurakuqi' Albania, in collaboration with P-WILL: Platform Work Inclusion Living Lab of the COST Action (CA21118) COST Association - European Cooperation in Science and Technology.

This hybrid conference will explore how digitalisation, artificial intelligence, and platform work are shaping the future of labour markets in South East Europe and beyond. Rooted in feminist political economy and intersectionality, the event will critically examine algorithmic governance, labour rights, economic justice, and alternative work models under the emerging concept of the Gold Economy.
