ILO standards on apprenticeship – 13 June 2023
A new recommendation on quality apprenticeships was adopted during the 111th International Labour Conference on 13 June 2023. The recommendation provides definitions and standards for the regulation of apprentices’ protection. Importantly (though unsurprisingly), a key role is given to employers’ and workers’ organizations throughout the apprenticeship lifecycle. The challenge is now implementation!
