On June 12-13, a conference was held in Lviv on the topic "Implementation of Vocational and Technical Education Reform".
Organizer of the event: the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine together with the EU Program "EU4Skills: the best skills for modern Ukraine".
Representatives of regional departments (departments) of education and science and educational and methodological centers of vocational and technical education were invited to participate.
Speakers of the conference: Dmytro Zavhorodniy, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitalization; Michal Kubish, head of the expert group; Iryna Shumik, general director of the Directorate of Vocational Education of the Ministry of Education and Culture; Yurii Balanyuk, Head of the National Qualifications Agency; Pavlo Khobzei, EU4Skills Program expert; Oleksiy Sytnyk, Anna Bondar, experts of the Reform Support Group of the Ministry of Education and Culture; Vasyl Kashevskyi, FSM consultant; Victoria Jus, head of the department of interaction with social partners and regional executive bodies of the Directorate of Vocational Education.
The conference discussed: the strategic plan for the development of professional education; innovations in the national system of qualifications; the end of the 2022/2023 academic year and preparation for the 2023/2024 academic year; appointment of directors of professional (vocational and technical) education institutions; transfer of property of professional (vocational and technical) education institutions from state to communal ownership; introductory campaign; entrant's electronic account; development of digital educational tools: "Professional Education Online" platform, mobile applications, electronic textbooks; presentation of the online resource "Map of professions"; creation, activity of career centers and career counseling in institutions of professional (vocational and technical) education, development of entrepreneurial skills of students of professional education.
