Entrepreneurial CoVEs a much needed actor

Centres of vocational excellence (CoVEs) can boost social and economic development in their ecosystems if they act in an entrepreneurial way. Being entrepreneurial CoVes is about having a drive toward innovation, having robust networks and putting learners at the centres. However, more is needed in terms of strategy setting and operational approaches.

To help CoVEs in their journey to become more entrepreneurial ETF since 2021 has been leading a Partnership among different CoVes in the Partner countries Entrepreneurial centres of vocational excellence | ETF (europa.eu)(link is external)

Our results for you

Through collective intelligence we have developed a new concept and new toolkits, we have learnt from each other and from good practices and have experimented coaching as a new way to introduce change. Our main outputs are:

A conceptual framework(link is external):(link is external) the conceptual definition of an Entrepreneurial CoVE. This new concept will contribute to the international debate in the entrepreneurial learning community and aims at empowering training centres in better responding to the changing needs of citizens, economies and societies. Have a look at it and let us know your opinion!

A self-assessment toolkit(link is external):(link is external) the tool for CoVEs to measure their level of entrepreneurial progress and set priorities for further improvement (See Annex 1 of the Conceptual framework - page 17). Try the toolkit and let us know if it works for you!

▪ Peer learning sessions: to learn about innovative entrepreneurial approaches in EU Member states and in partner countries  (February-May 2022) Six inspiring webinars under ENE Entrepreneurial Centres of Vocational Excellence initiative | Open Space (europa.eu)Have a look at the webinars and discover new entrepreneurial approaches !

Coaching sessions: individual support for each CoVE to produce new training products and identify new partners (September-December 2023 and March-May 2024).

An ecosystem engagement toolkit: the new tool for CoVEs to activate new partnerships within their ecosystem (expected by the end of 2024).
