More specifically, the ETF focuses on generating evidence and supporting policies that better align mobility, skills and labour market needs, ensuring more balanced outcomes for individuals and countries of origin and destination via triple win approaches.
MIGCOM - the ETF network of international researchers and experts on the skills dimension of migration - plays a crucial role in this framework via, among others, webinars offering knowledge sharing, peer learning and networking opportunities to its members. Key aspects of the webinars are how research and good practices can help policies with specific attention to skills, including to issues of skills intelligence, skills provision, and recognition of qualifications.
This webinar will explore a few angles of how integration of migrant workers can be supported via policies and initiatives that foster skills formation and skills recognition of migrants. Cases from different countries will be presented to inform active dialogue with participants.
