Skills Lab Network of Experts - webinar
Recent climate events, the recent launch of the Green Deal and the COP26 have all helped the issue of climate change gain political traction. This is also the case for the neighbourhood region where we observe clear shifts away from the linear economy and education and training systems are taking steps to ensure sustainability is at the heart of learning programmes. ETF will continue to research the links between education, work and the green transition in this region and we hope to collaborate with you. This event was an occasion to share knowledge and discuss recent teamwork on this topic.
Purpose of the meeting
The purpose of the meeting was threefold (see the agenda below):
- ETF briefly presented its position on the subject of skills for the green transition in the neighbourhood region and explained its current research challenges.
- Then was then an opportunity for members to present their work/experience on the subject.
- Finally, there was a networking session to discuss collaborative opportunities and share country assessments in an informal setting.
