DIGI-ENE initiative under ETF Network for Excellence organised a webinar dedicated to Digital Educational content on 16th February 2023 from 12.00 to 15.30 CET. The DIGI ENE focus is digital teaching and learning practices.The overall objective of the initiative is to show how digital teaching and learning can efficiently increase students’ learning, presenting tools and methodologies, and supporting participating Centres of Excellence in integrating them in their working environment.The webinar followed the launching event “Developing and Sharing Excellence on digitalisation of teaching and learning”, organised on 23 and 24 March 2022. “Digital Educational content” is one of 4 areas identified together with DIGI ENE members:

2.Digital Pedagogies (webinar held on 31 May 2022)
3.Teachers’ Digital Competences (webinar held on 11 October 2022)
4.Digital Leadership (result of working group discussion–date to be defined in 2023)
Goals:
The webinar about “Digital Educational Content” aimed to:
•show the audience how to create Interactive Learning Spaces with Graasp;
•open platform for discussion and transnational learning among members of network;
•present best practices and experiences of teaching with Europeana and implementing the“Coding with Europeana”
•suggest tips to improve the engagement of students in digital content creation.
We are in a good company. Among our key speakers we had:
•Denis Gillet, Senior Scientist in Electrical Engineering from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne (EPFL) in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in Information Systems also from the EPFL in 1995. He is currently Maître d'enseignement et de recherche at the EPFL School of Engineering.
•Pier Giuseppe Rossi is full professor in the scientific/disciplinary sector ”General Didactics and Special Needs Pedagogy“ at the Department of Education Sciences, Cultural Heritage and Tourism at University of Macerata (Italy).
. Lorella Giannandrea, professor of education and learning technologies and director of the Department of Education, Cultural Heritage and Tourism at the University of Macerata
•Isabel Crespo, from Europeana Foundation, develops partnerships with relevant players in education, including MoEs, industry and non-profit organizations in order to promote the reuse of digital culture in formal and informal settings.
•Selçuk Yusuf Arslan is a computer science teacher at Ataturk Vocational and Technical High School in Ankara Turkey. He was selected as finalists of Global Teacher Prize in 2021. Thanks to his project in related with coding and environment, he was one of the winners of ETF Green Skills Award.
