Dear partners,

We are pleased to announce that ETF is organising a webinar “The Skill Continuum in Education Systems: Insights from New ETF Evidence” on 20 May 2026, from 14:00 to 15:30 CEST.

This webinar will present the findings of two recent studies conducted by ETF in early 2026 in the framework of global education:

  • Comparative analysis of the skills dimension embedded in education, employment and other key national strategies; this study covered all ETF partner countries.
  •  Analysis of the skills continuum in education through 3 case studies articulated around the sustainability competence.

The presentations will pave the way for an open dialogue on the pending challenges related to the skills continuum at global and local levels, such as: which skills to target in priority for reinforcing the skill continuum, how to consider, beyond formal education, non-formal and informal learning, and other questions that the participants will raise.

The working language of the meeting will be English only, draft agenda is attached.

Places for open participation during the webinar are limited. If this topic is relevant to your expertise or work, please fill in the form of expression of interest by 12 MayPre-registration form - The Skill Continuum in Education Systems: Insights from New ETF Evidence.
