Version in Russian

The discussion will be around the role of teachers in the era of digital technologies and the emergence of artificial intelligence (AI). It is desirable to identify and respond to the concerns of many teachers and parents that digital and computer technologies negatively influence on children and adolescents. We will also consider which digital and soft skills teachers should develop and how AI can challenge or complement the work of teachers. It is necessary to discuss the inevitability of the onset of the digital era and why a teacher needs to develop rapidly his/her Digital Skills and especially Soft Skills; how to become a professional better than AI can do.

Thank you Vitaly and colleagues and congratulations. It was a very successful webinar!

A high quality of debate and I welcome the fact that contributors made connections between AI in education and issues relating to the professional status of teachers, mental health and well being of learners, personalised responses.

It was great that so many countries were represented and made active contributions revealing differences in approach and perspective. I welcomed the involved of teacher trainees and the sense of a genuinely international community.
