Orkney Island International Science Festival 2020 3-9 SEPT– NOW ONLINE STARTS 3rd SEP

This year the Orkney Islands International Science Festival has decided to take all of its activities on-line. It will be interesting to observe how this works out:

For 30 years the Science Festival has provided a successful formula (now also on-line) for lifelong community learning, including rural areas, teaching and participation in the sciences, arts, history and culture for old and young,  but also as an ingredient in sustainable Tourism policy and strategy. Have a look – it may add reflection to ETF's cooperation with partner countries many of whom have shown strong interest in the idea of Science/Culture Festivals as part of their national development strategies.
