The skills dimension of migration is gaining importance in the European Union, in its Partner countries and the international policy agenda. The ETF is actively supporting the production of evidence on labour migration-related phenomena and exchanges among academics and practitioners, to be used as a forward-looking support for policymaking in both the EU and Partner countries.
The Skills Lab Network of experts, as a global knowledge community, offers a unique opportunity to achieve this objective through the creation in May 2025 of a dedicated MIG Community. After a very successful call for abstracts, the MIG Community started its knowledge-sharing activities. This was the first of a series of webinars, where themes will be decided among members to ensure that what is presented is relevant for the Community.
This webinar touched upon two main themes: Support measures for labour market inclusion tailored to migrants, and Female migrant workers as learners.
The agenda of the webinar is included in this page.
The slides presented during the webinar are also included in this page.
