The European Training Foundation (ETF), in cooperation with the European Commission Directorate-General for Neighbourhood and Enlargement Negotiations, organised the launch event for the EU-funded Regional Programme ‘Supporting Education Reforms & Skills in the Eastern Partnership region (SER) along with a peer-learning workshop focusing on the Use of Evidence in Education Policies in Turin, Italy, on 29th – 31st May 2024. 

This occasion gathered the representatives from the five Eastern Partnership countries to:

  • introduce and further refine the action plan for implementing the three pillars of the Programme
  • promote the exchange of experiences among Eastern Partnership (EaP) countries regarding the use of evidence in the design and monitoring of education policies, and in the effective management of their education systems.
  • present practices of EU Member States on the use of evidence and data management within the education sector.
