The programme will focus on skills development, quality standards, sustainability,
policy advocacy, and international cooperation in tourism and hospitality.
Participants will engage in keynote sessions, thematic workshops, project
matchmaking, roundtables, benchmarking activities and experiential learning,
fostering both strategic discussion and practical exchange among European and
international tourism VET organisations.
The event is hosted in Fasano, a destination in the heart of Puglia that perfectly
embodies the connection between culture, gastronomy, landscape and sustainable
tourism. Located between the Adriatic coast and the hills of the Murgia dei Trulli, Fasano
offers a rich blend of history, natural heritage, traditional agriculture, and hospitality,
making it an ideal setting to reflect on excellence rooted in local identity.
The event “Cultivating Excellence: from Local Tourism to International Cooperation” will feature keynote sessions, project roundtables, experiential and cultural activities, unique opportunities for exchange and partnership-building.
