The online event on 18 June 2024, "BUILDING GREEN: Sustainability frameworks for greening, - Moving forward in provision of skills for the green transition" will focus on one of the key enablers for the success of CoVEs' green actions within the green transition: sustainability models within multilevel governance.

Multilevel governance is essential because it provides a structured approach to integrating sustainability principles across different governance levels, from local to national, EU, and global. By aligning policies, practices, and resources, multilevel governance frameworks enable more effective and comprehensive strategies for achieving climate neutrality and fostering sustainable development in the construction industry and beyond.

Strategy and policy alignment is one core dimension in the GRETA’s whole institutional approach to greening VET. - And Centres of Vocational Excellence have a key role to play in driving the change forward.

Key takeaways from the event will be:

  • Exploring future sustainability frameworks and governance models within skills ecosystems.
  • Examples and practices of CoVEs driving forward change in green skills delivery.
  • Key updates and future activities in ENE, GRETA and GLAD

The event is organised by ETFs Network for Excellence and its green partnership - GRETA - ( Greening Responses to Excellence through Thematic Actions) and the ETF Governance Learning, Action and Dialogues - GLAD Network.

The webinar will be in English with simultaneous interpretation in French, Ukrainian and Russian.
