Public Institution Center of Excellence in Light Industry

The Public Institution Center of Excellence in Light Industry in Chisinau (PI CELI) was created in January of 2016 by the absorption of the PI Professional School nr. 8 in Chisinau, founded in 1945 and PI Professional School nr. 1, located also in Chisinau and founded in 1973. This year PI CELI grew even bigger, because it absorbed the PI Technological College from Chisinau, founded in 1967.  

PI CELI is located at the following address: 5 George Cosbuc str, Chisinau, Republic of Moldova.  The Founder of the Institution is the Ministry of Education and Research of the Republic of Moldova.  PI CELI grounds its activity on the principles of accessibility, relevance, equity and transparency. Also, PI CELI acts as a public institution of technical professional education, with increased potential, having attributions for the field of organizing combined programs of professional training, as well as, the field of the development of capacities of technical professional education institutions, which prepare specialists in the field of:  

• Textile products (clothing, footwear and leather goods)  
• Electrotechnics and energetics 
• Hairdresser and beautician services.
