Lilama 2 International Technology College (LILAMA2) is a public vocational education and training institution established in 1986 in Dong Nai, Viet Nam. It is a designated Centre of Vocational Excellence (CoVE) and provides technical training across 22 occupational fields, including Mechanical Engineering, CNC Machining, Welding, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Automotive Technology, Process Piping, Construction Mechanics, Telecommunications and Logistics. The College serves more than 3,800 students annually and reports graduate employment rates exceeding 93%. It has a strong focus on internationalisation, implementing training programmes benchmarked against German and French occupational standards, with support from German development cooperation (GIZ/KfW) and the French Development Agency (AFD). Its training infrastructure and programmes are designed to combine advanced technical knowledge with practical skills and internationally recognised qualifications.
A distinctive feature of LILAMA2 is its dual vocational education and training model, which combines institutional learning with workplace experience through partnerships with major companies, including Bosch, Mercedes-Benz and Schaeffler. The College contributes to developing the skilled technical workforce required for major infrastructure projects, including Long Thanh International Airport, while also preparing technicians for employment opportunities in Germany, Japan and South Korea. Its international networks and partnerships include AWS (ATF Center), City & Guilds, BTEC Pearson, EVBB and TÜV NORD. Looking ahead, LILAMA2 is committed to advancing green skills, digital competences and innovation, while strengthening cooperation with industry and supporting the modernisation and international integration of vocational education in Viet Nam.
