Hue Industrial College (HueIC) is a public vocational education institution under Viet Nam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade, with a 127-year history in technical and vocational training. In February 2026, it was officially recognised as a national high-quality college. Its strategic development focuses on specialised training aligned with international standards, international cooperation and the modernisation of teaching and learning. The College collaborates with organisations including GIZ, Aus4Skills and KOSEN, and maintains partnerships with institutions and stakeholders in Japan, Germany and Australia. Its educational approach incorporates digital learning, STEM integration and modern training workshops, supporting the development of technical and professional competences relevant to evolving industry needs.
HueIC places strong emphasis on cooperation with enterprises to connect vocational education with practical skills development and employment opportunities. Industry partnerships help strengthen the relevance of training and create pathways into the labour market, including opportunities for graduates to pursue international careers, such as engineering roles with Mitsubishi Corporation. The College also promotes green and inclusive education and seeks to strengthen its international profile through global partnerships and innovative training approaches. Through these priorities, HueIC aims to prepare skilled professionals for domestic and international labour markets while contributing to the modernisation and internationalisation of vocational education in Viet Nam.
