FabLab Innovation Center is an independent, private, non-profit research and technology organization founded in 2020 to bridge the gap between academia and industry in Bosnia and Herzegovina. As a pioneering center for applied innovation, it provides a high-tech research laboratory, makerspace, living lab and access to cutting-edge technologies for education, research, and entrepreneurship.
The organization supports vocational excellence through hands-on learning, professional training, and certification programs that align with EU standards and emerging industry needs. FabLab Bosnia and Herzegovina operates advanced laboratories in Additive Manufacturing/3D Printing, Collaborative Robotics, Electronics & Photonics, AR/VR/XR, AI, and Circular Technologies, enabling learners and professionals to acquire future-oriented skills.
As a member of international networks such as the Fab Foundation, Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), and EIT Community, FabLab Bosnia and Herzegovina fosters innovation-driven collaboration, sustainable development, and the growth of a green and digital economy. It also coordinates initiatives like the Digital Innovation Hub Digital Storm, the Maker Faire Sarajevo, and innovation programs, nurturing a dynamic ecosystem for vocational excellence, creativity, and entrepreneurship.
