Dnipro Professional Technological College is a vocational education institution in Dnipro, Ukraine, with a history dating back to 1943. The College combines long-standing educational experience with innovation and contemporary European approaches to vocational education, providing an open and inclusive learning environment for young people and adults seeking to acquire new skills, change career paths or contribute to the country's recovery and economic development. The institution has experienced significant growth in recent years, with the number of students tripling over the past five years, and provides opportunities for both initial vocational education and lifelong learning.
The College offers training across a broad range of sectors through specialised departments covering mechanical engineering and metalworking, construction and civil engineering, power engineering and electronics, automotive transport and logistics, communications and services, and agricultural production. Its programmes combine theoretical knowledge with practical and technology-oriented training, including advanced materials processing, energy-efficient construction, electrical systems, computer-based vehicle diagnostics, telecommunications and modern agricultural technologies. The College has a modern material and technical base, including laboratories and workshops equipped with digital and production technologies, and promotes dual education and cooperation with national and international companies.
Dnipro Professional Technological College is actively engaged in international cooperation, having participated in 17 international projects and programmes over the past year. The institution also places strong emphasis on its social mission and inclusive education, including education and retraining opportunities for war veterans and their families, complemented by psychosocial support aimed at facilitating their transition to civilian life and employment. Students are also encouraged to participate in international exchanges, hackathons, volunteering and social initiatives. Through its combination of innovation, industry partnerships, international cooperation and inclusive learning opportunities, the College contributes to skills development, workforce preparation and the recovery and sustainable development of Ukraine.
