Professional Lyceum of Ukrainka

State Educational Institution "Professional Lyceum of Ukrainka" is a modern vocational education provider in the Kyiv Region of Ukraine. The institution delivers initial vocational education, adult learning programmes, short-term upskilling courses and qualification assessment services. Its training offer covers electrical engineering, welding technologies, automotive maintenance, industrial occupations, administration and digital skills. Training programmes are developed in close cooperation with employers and regional enterprises, ensuring that graduates acquire skills aligned with current labour market needs. The Lyceum also cooperates with universities, local authorities, employment services and international organisations, while energy, manufacturing and packaging companies contribute to curriculum development, practical training and graduate employment.

The Lyceum has recently modernised its training infrastructure through international support programmes, creating advanced learning environments for electrical installation, welding and other technical occupations. It places strong emphasis on inclusive education, lifelong learning, reskilling and upskilling, with opportunities designed to support adults, veterans and internally displaced persons. The institution is also developing approaches to work-based learning and dual vocational education in cooperation with employers. As part of its strategic development, the Lyceum is transforming into a regional Centre of Vocational Excellence, promoting innovation, partnership building, skills development and sustainable regional growth, while connecting education more closely with labour market needs and regional development priorities.
