Last week’s Skills Lab Live Event was full of fascinating discussions on how digitalisation and AI will impact the future of skills and the labour market. I was really struck and encouraged by the positive outlook of network members who were generally hopefully that we can mitigate the risks and ensure that these tools work for the good of people as we progress towards 2050.
I felt that there was particular excitement about the potential of digitalisation and AI to open up new opportunities in education and training – including new and potentially more accessible forms of learning for a greater number of people all throughout their life.
But of course, beyond the great new connections and networking opportunities, it is not possible to dig deep into all the possible relevant topics for the future of skills at one 2-day event. So I take this opportunity to ask you what topics you would like to see further exchanges on? What topics got missed at the Live Event? Or where would you like to learn and exchange more with colleagues in other countries?
Share your ideas so that we can inform the future work of the network and hopefully organise a webinar or other networking event on your suggested topic! I look forward to hearing from you.
