Dear colleagues,

We are proud to announce the ETF Skills Lab Network of Experts' first call for joint research proposals.

We are looking for:

  • new joint research ideas;
  • pre-existing research that could be developed into comparative analysis;
  • research which is complete but yet to be published;
  • new tools (including software) or methodologies that you are looking to share with other countries / researchers.

The call covers a wide variety of approaches and topics related to skills anticipation and skills demand, in particular proposals that:

  1. identify skills trends related to new technologies, digitalisation, and greening of economies;
  2. produce skills identification/anticipation mechanisms, tools and analysis;
  3. collect evidence on skills needs, skills gaps and skills mismatches.

The results will be published by the ETF and disseminated in the network's activities. Successful applicants will be given access to ETF data, matchmaking, peer review and editorial expertise.

The closing date for applications is 15 March 2023.

Yes, the call is open mainly to ETF partner countries but others are welcome to apply. The important point is that the project should be collaborative, with at least one member coming from an ETF partner country.

2593 It is great, thank you!
I am using this chance to invite ETF partner countries to cooperate with us. We are the Nukus Branch of Tashkent University of Information Technologies, Karakalpakstan, Uzbekistan.
Thank you in advance for collaboration proposals!

Hi Andrea, thanks for your question. No financial support is foreseen for the research, but there are a number of other incentives that are detailed in the call. If you want to discuss things in more detail, please get in touch by email: network@etfskillslab.eu

Hello, thank you for sharing this call with us. Is there a platform or a forum that we can use to contact other interested members from partner countries? Thanks in advance
