On February 8, 2022 the second international meeting of the HVS#3 Mukachevo (Ukraine) http://vpu3.org.ua/pidgotovka/ working group took place with partners of the GRETA project: "Greening responses to excellence through thematic actions", organized by ETF (European Training Foundation) and DTI (Danish Technological Institute).
In our country at the state level understand the importance of movement for environmental protection.
The Ukrainian government recently started implementing strong policies addressing these issues as well. For example, on June 7, 2021 there was the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. Ecology". Our President Volodymyr Zelenskyy signed a decree launching the Green Country project. Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a speech at the forum said, ‘We are launching the Green Country project. I will say at once that this is not a political project, but a purely ecological one for nature and the environment. We have set ourselves an ambitious goal but, I am sure, an achievable goal - to increase the area of forests by one million hectares in 10 years. To this end, in the next three years, we seek to plant one billion trees in Ukraine."

Deforestation, for example, is one of the biggest problems in our region. We cannot repay the countless benefits we receive from our environment. It has helped us for years to grow and flourish but we are harming it every day. As a result, our environment is degrading.
Human activities are causing environmental degradation. We are responsible for air, water, and land pollution. We are also indirectly responsible for global warming, greenhouse gases, ozone depletion, etc.
For example, we should take a pledge to say ‘No’ to plastics. Instead of it, we may make use of Eco-friendly substitutes like paper and cloth bags.
Also, we are happy to say that Ukraine took part in the great eco-project EU4Climate. It helps governments in six EU Eastern Partner countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, the Republic of Moldova, and Ukraine) to take action against climate change and towards a low-emissions and climate-resilient economy. Funded by the European Union (EU) and implemented by UNDP (United Nations Development Programme), EU4Climate supports countries in implementing the Paris Agreement and improving climate policies and legislation with an ambition of limiting climate change impact on citizens’ lives and making them more resilient to it. https://eu4climate.eu/ukraine/
It is necessary to save and protect our environment. It is the responsibility of everyone to do our bit for becoming more eco. We believe that our efforts will help us to save the environment because there is no planet "B".
HVS #3 Mukavevo had the honor to present to experts our achievements, ideas, and plans to increase the environmental awareness level through the project.
Video tour of the school locations (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOoyJeqciq4), presentation of the work of the team and the Eco-dreams team: videos "Eco aspect in the profession", flash mobs, promotions, presentations of student eco-projects gave impetus to an interesting and useful discussion for us. This meeting inspired to further work in the formation of "green skills".
Our mission: competitiveness and sustainability of educational institutions in the market of educational services, implementation of the principle of differentiation and individualization of vocational training, creating a modern educational and natural environment.
Our school can become an eco hub, a center of valuable knowledge, the latest technologies, and practical solutions.
Thanks a lot Ms. Inna Kuprivenko. This is very informative and useful to keep abreast on how ENE member developments are starting to be linked to relevant national and EU/ international policy dialogue/frameworks. Bravo Ukraine !
