National and Regional Qualification Frameworks: an essential policy tool or the icing on the cake?

Why?
Around 150 countries have developed or implemented Qualification Frameworks (QFs) to improve their training system’s quality and the recognition of learning outcomes acquired in any context.
Furthermore, QFs have gone beyond nations to facilitate integration and mobility through Regional QFs.
Which lessons learnt could we share? What are QFs’ recent developments, in extremely flexible and technology-affected qualification systems? How do QFs interact with LMIS and quality assurance?
An intense discussion on these topics is now held in Turin with experts from ILO, UNESCO, ETF and Unionlearn, during the Skills Academy organized by the International Training Centre of the ILO.
