Country Profiles on Teacher Management Systems in Eastern Partnership Countries

The ETF has released a new package of country-focused reports examining Teacher Management Systems in five Eastern Partnership countries: 

• Armenia, 
• Azerbaijan,
• Georgia, 
• Moldova, and 
• Ukraine. 

Developed under the EU-funded Regional Programme Supporting Education Reforms and Skills (SER) in Eastern Partnership, the profiles offer a comprehensive overview of each country’s teacher management system, including key data on the teaching workforce, challenges faced, and policy responses. The reports were informed by insights from the 2024 peer-learning event Teaching Excellence – Empowering Educators, held in Finland and Estonia, and were prepared in collaboration with national experts and authorities. 

These publications serve as a valuable resource for policymakers, educators, and stakeholders dedicated to enhancing teacher education, workforce planning, and the pursuit of teaching excellence across the region.
