The conventional approach to preparing individuals for the requirements of a modern labour market needs crucial and urgent changes. Reformation and modernization of the career guidance system are in high demand to ensure the process of adapting both adult and young people to the challenges of a fast-evolving world of work.
Within the framework of the ETF project collecting data and interviewing experts of the CG field make it possible not only to identify the state of career guidance in the country but also to highlight the point for deeper consideration and plan the steps for further improvement.
The Ukraine Factsheet describes the current state of national policy and practice in career guidance at institutional, organizational, and individual capacities including roles and responsibilities, strategies, concepts, initiatives, priorities for development, as well as good practices, with a special accent on the CG activities in a Pandemic.
In order to promote the effective advancement of the career guidance system in Ukraine, it is important to join the international dialogue for sharing experiences and learning from successful practices of other countries. In this context factsheets researching CG systems in the partner countries give a possibility to implement the productive strategies and instruments that open new horizons for individual self-realization and contribution to the society development.
