CHAIN5 is a community of practice for people who are involved in level 5 of the European Qualifications Framework. The community exists since 2014 and has a wide range of members; from national and international associations and networks for VET, HE, Short Cycle and Higher Vocational Education and other qualifications at level 5, to employers' and students' organisations, universities, colleges, VET institutes and business academies
Chain 5 is preparing its annual conference in Como Italy in March 2019. You can find the provisional program, logistic arrangements and a call for contributions here.
Shaping level 5
ETF, in co-operation with the Council of Europe, organised a 2-day conference 'Shaping level 5' in June this year. Some 60 experts, officials and stakeholders discussed varied functions of Level 5 qualifications and of innovative use and practices in these qualifications. Representatives from ETF partner countries identified potential interventions with Council of Europe and ETF in 2019-20.
