Description of the practice:
When all children, regardless of their differences, are educated together, everyone benefits this is the cornerstone of inclusive education.Inclusive education values diversity and the unique contributions each student brings to the classroom. In a truly inclusive setting, every child feels safe and has a sense of belonging.Separate, special education provides no guarantee of success for children who need special attention; inclusive schools that provide supportive, context-appropriate conditions for learning demonstrate far better outcomes .That is why I try to use different methods, tecniques, thoughts, and instuctions to help me guide these students through primary school ,so that they can have a good base for secondary school
All students respond differently to academic instructional methods, including special education students. Some may excel in collaborative settings while others may learn better by working on their own. It’s important to create lessons and a learning environment that addresses different learning types, because we all don’t learn in the same way.Sometimes this is difficult when you teach in a class of 25 students and inside of it there is a student with special needs. It is extremely demanding to be able to pay attention to all of them in a lesson that lasts 40 minutes, its difficult to address each and every student so that you can pull out the best having in mind that students with disabilities need extra time to express their thoughts and knowledge.
The reactions and the smiles on the student’s faces is my MOST IMPORTANT indicator that my teaching has succedded .There is nothing more important than this .I have worked with students for more than 27 years and nothing is more important to me than this.If i see the smile when some student finishes the task I know that I am on the right way.I can tell you a lot of stuff of how I work and what I do but all of this will have no meaning if there is not the satisfaction on the students faces. The students are the future of the world ,if we don't give them a proper example then who will.Dissabled students have to give twice the effort to achieve their goals according to their dissability, that is why we are there to help them them and make them feel safe and secure.During the lessons I try to make these kids happier through the work I try to challenge them for reaching a higher goal and encourage them every time no matter if they secceеd or fail.
