Established in 2002, Vietnamese German Technical College of Ha Tinh is a public vocational education and training (VET) institution under the People's Committee of Ha Tinh Province, Viet Nam. The College is committed to providing high-quality vocational education and developing a skilled workforce that responds to industry needs and socio-economic development. It offers training at college, intermediate and elementary vocational levels, covering a broad range of technical and service occupations, including Automotive Technology, Industrial Electrical Technology, Metal Cutting Technology, Industrial Electronics, Welding, Information Technology, Beauty Care, Professional Cooking Techniques and Sales Management. The College serves approximately 3,000 learners each year and has established strong partnerships with enterprises, industrial parks and international organisations to support work-based learning, curriculum development and graduate employability. More than 95% of graduates secure employment or continue their studies after graduation, demonstrating the relevance of its industry-oriented training approach.
In recent years, the College has strengthened its focus on digital transformation, teaching innovation, applied research, entrepreneurship education and international cooperation. It has participated in numerous national and international projects aimed at improving the quality of vocational education and aligning training more closely with labour market demands. The College has also successfully completed external accreditation of TVET institutions and continues to pursue quality improvement through close collaboration with industry and international partners. Through its combination of industry engagement, practical training, innovation and international cooperation, the College contributes to the development of a skilled workforce and the continuous modernisation of vocational education in Viet Nam.
